Teele Ntsonyana is the head coach of Liphakoe Football Club.
Liphakoe FC and Teele Ntsonyana has reached an agreement for the latter to become first team coach until the end of the season with an option for renewal. Teller joined the club on Monday and met with the club executive committee together with club President Mr Ramajake Thulo. Today he was introduced to the players and the technical team he will be working with that include his former players Tsebang Lebata and Jankie Tsoeu who will be assisting him.
“We welcome him back to the club after 2 seasons”.
The Lesotho veteran join the club for the second time after having spells at Linare Football Club and LMPS Football Club where he recently resigned. Throughout his career he has been a proponent of possession based, attacking football that has been attractive to the fans.
As a player Teele Ntsoanayana was a striker and also played in defence. He featured in Mazenod Swallows as his home club and also played for Arsenal and Rovers. Ntsonyana also played outside the country in South Africa playing for Wits university(Now Bidvest Wits) and Mpumalanga Black Aces in the South African top tier league Premiere Soccer League. He also featured in the Lesotho national team and hold many appearances and goals for Likuena.
Teele Ntsonyana is one of the most experienced coaches in Lesotho Football. The coach from Mazenod started his coaching career at his home village club of Mazenod Swallows, helping them to clinch an Econet Buddie Challenge cup.
He later on took on Liphakoe fc and got the club promoted to the Lesotho Premiere League from A-division league. Mr Ntsonyana coached Liphakoe for 2 and half seasons in the Premiere League until he was replaced by coach Motebang Makhetha.
After a spell out of the game, Mr Ntsonyana joined Linare and later he joined LMPS FC where he left and reunite with “the mighty Hawks”.
